Heilig: 19th Century Choral Masterpieces from the German Empire Choir concert

The UCI Chamber Singers and Masterworks Chorale join together to present sacred choral works from German composers Franz Schubert, Felix Mendelssohn, and Johannes Brahms. The Masterworks Chorale, in their inaugural performance, will perform Schubert's delightful Mass in G Major, featuring soloists Ariana Flores (soprano), Jacob Tulley (tenor), and Elias Berezin (bass), and accompanist Audrey Spaulding on piano. The Chamber Singers' performance features a cappella motets by Mendelssohn and Brahms - both admirers of Schubert - including Mendelssohn's popular "Heilig, heilig ist Gott." Winifred Smith Hall
